I was born, raised, and still live in Stillwater, Oklahoma. My parents, Helen and Rudy (now a wildlife / landscape artist), are retired zoology professors from OSU. I have two older brothers, Mark, a geography teacher, and Mike, a marine biologist. My life partner is a wonderful woman by the name of Kate Coffee.
I have a BA with honors in English from Oklahoma State University where I currently work as a senior editor for Fire Protection Publications. They have a website here.
I have also lived in Kailua Hawaii, Berkeley California (for a brief stint of graduate school studying Scandinavian Languages and Literature), and Ringkobing Denmark where I lived for a year as an exchange student with a Danish family.
